Salvia rosmarinus — evergreen woody shrub, harvested as sprigs.

Thymus vulgaris — low-growing woody perennial, harvested as sprigs.

Allium schoenoprasum — perennial of the onion family, cut by hand for uniform stalk length.

Salvia officinalis — woody perennial with soft, grey-green leaves, cut by hand.

Cymbopogon citratus — tropical grass, harvested as stalks and trimmed to a uniform length.
